Biography:
Dr. Pietro Salvatori graduated at the University of Florence Medical School, Italy. He earned specialization in General Surgery, Otorhinolaryngology, and Maxillo-Facial Surgery. He was Research Fellow at the University of Liverpool, served in several Institutions, and ended his hospital career as Head of ENT-H&N Department of the Humanitas San Pio X Hospital, Milan, Italy. At present, Dr. Salvatori acts as freelance Head & Neck Surgeon.
Most of both his work and research dealt with head and neck cancer. Dr. Salvatori published more than 70 papers and gave about 150 speeches.
During recent pandemic, he made research with international colleagues and published on ethanol inhalation to treat SARS-CoV-2 infection and Covid-19.
