About Infection 2027 | Hybrid Event
Infection 2027, the 11th Edition of World Congress on Infectious Diseases, will take place from June 28–30, 2027, in Rome, Italy as a Hybrid Event, with both onsite and online participation available. The congress will provide an international platform for advancing discussion on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and control of infectious diseases. Guided by the theme “Advancing Infectious Disease Research for Better Prevention and Care”, the congress will support broad scientific exchange and professional collaboration across the field.
The congress welcomes infectious disease specialists, microbiologists, virologists, epidemiologists, immunologists, physicians, public health professionals, clinical researchers, academicians, healthcare practitioners, students, pharmaceutical experts, and policymakers. By connecting professionals from healthcare, academia, research, and industry, the event encourages knowledge sharing and interdisciplinary discussion.
The scientific program will cover emerging infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, virology, bacteriology, parasitology, mycology, vaccinology, clinical microbiology, infection prevention and control, epidemiology, global health, tropical diseases, diagnostic technologies, immunotherapy, pandemic preparedness, and advances in antimicrobial therapies.
