Arnab Roy

Biography:

Arnab Roy is a dedicated PhD candidate in Pharmacology and Toxicology at NIPER Hyderabad, India, under the mentorship of Dr. Nitin Pal Kalia. His doctoral research focuses on novel therapeutic strategies for tuberculosis by targeting the bioenergetic pathways of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. His work has been instrumental in identifying and characterizing synergistic drug combinations that target bacterial terminal oxidases, a promising approach to overcome drug tolerance and achieve sterilizing killing. He is passionately committed to translating fundamental scientific discoveries into impactful solutions for infectious diseases.
