Darehyne Avila Pina has been a doctor for 28 years, a specialist in family medicine since 2005, and an epidemiology specialist since 2010. She currently work at the Provincial Center for Hygiene, Epidemiology, and Microbiology in the province of Cienfuegos as head of the immunization program.
