Biography:

Dr. Enerik Guci is an Albanian physician specializing in rheumatology, currently completing his residency at the “Nënë Tereza” University Hospital Center in Tirana. He earned his Master’s Degree in Medicine from the University of Bologna, where he graduated with a strong academic record and developed an early interest in immunology and chronic inflammatory diseases.

His clinical background spans several key medical roles, including family doctor, emergency physician, and general practitioner. Through these positions, Dr. Guci has gained extensive experience in primary care, acute care management, diagnostic evaluation, and patient-centered treatment planning. His current work in rheumatology focuses on the diagnosis and management of autoimmune and musculoskeletal diseases, with a developing specialization in ultrasonography for rheumatologic assessment.

Dr. Guci has completed a wide range of accredited medical trainings in emergency medicine, endocrinology, infectious diseases, neurology, and musculoskeletal ultrasound. He actively participates in national and international rheumatology conferences, including EULAR courses and major European congresses.

He is co-author of several clinical studies examining osteoporosis in ankylosing spondylitis, low-dose prednisone in polymyalgia rheumatica, the role of anti-CCP in rheumatoid arthritis activity, and Anti-SCL70 in scleroderma. Known for his strong communication skills, teamwork, and analytical approach, Dr. Guci is dedicated to advancing evidence-based practice and contributing to clinical research in rheumatology.
