Biography:
Fjorda Berisha graduated in 2019 from the Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Medicine. In March 2020, she began working as a volunteer physician at the Infectious Disease Clinic of the University Clinical Center of Kosovo, where she spent seven months providing medical care to patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. On February 1, 2021, she commenced her specialization in Infectious Diseases at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo, Infectious Disease Clinic, and is currently in the final phase of her specialization. In addition to her clinical training, she is also pursuing her PhD as a candidate in Ljubljana. Further enhancing her expertise, she completed specialized training in Intensive Care at the University Clinical Center of Ljubljana during October and November 2024. Her academic and professional interests focus on infectious diseases and clinical research. She is also a co-author of a scientific paper published in ScienceDirect in 2023 titled “Visceral Leishmaniasis in Kosovo.”
