Biography:
Dr. Ihssane Benzaarate is a PhD candidate in Microbiology at Chouaïb Doukkali University, El Jadida, Morocco, conducting her research within the Molecular Bacteriology Laboratory at the Institut Pasteur of Morocco. Her doctoral work focuses on the genomic surveillance of antimicrobial resistance and the molecular epidemiology of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. She has completed advanced training in bacterial genomics and bioinformatics. Author of several peerreviewed publications, she aims to strengthen genomic-based AMR surveillance and foster One Health collaborations in Africa.
