Biography:
John Paul Byagamy is a Ugandan biomedical scientist, public health professional, and educator with over 15 years of experience in medical laboratory science, diagnostics, and health systems strengthening. He is pursuing a PhD in Parasitology and Entomology at Gulu University and holds advanced degrees from Gulu and Mbarara universities. A leader in diagnostic mentorship, he coordinates COVID-19 diagnostics in Northern Uganda and lectures at Lira University. He has held national and regional leadership roles in laboratory quality management, malaria and TB programs, and professional associations. Passionate about mentorship and research, he lives in Lira City with his family.
