Biography:
Sotirija Duvlis is a professor of immunology and a specialist in clinical genetics. She earned her master's degree in molecular biology and genetic engineering from the Macedonian Academy of Sciences. She works at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Goce Delchev University in Shtip, North Macedonia, and in the department of Virology in the Institute of Public Health of North Macedonia. Her primary research interests include the immune response to infectious diseases, genetic susceptibility to severe forms of infectious diseases, immunogenetics, immune mechanisms in malignancies linked to oncogenic viruses, and immunodeficiencies.
